 Sunthon Phu Monument
The monument was built to commemorate Sunthon Phu, a leading poet in the early Rattanakosin era, two centuries ago. There are statues of Sunthon Phu and characters from his famous literature.
Sunthon Phu Monument
Five kilometers further on from Laem Mae Phim on the beach road (Highway No. 3145) is the Sunthorn Phu Monumentl. The place was built to commemorate one of Thailands most famous poets in the early Rattanakosin era, two centuries ago. Sunthon Phu, a Rayong native, had written his literary worksas Phra Aphai Mani being his most well-known work. There are statues of Sunthon Phu and characters from his famous literature.
